The New iPad, why upgrade it?

every time looked @ pdf's , websites in portrait mode
on 1 , 2, knew i'd upgrade retina ipad.

1 seems keeper
@ least couple generations or more,
why want upgrade new ipad ?

 

because ipad 4 shiny.

foresee myself skipping generation time though, have skipped 1 without retina.
