Is it possible to put a portable HDD INSIDE Mac Mini?

so looking @ upgrading hdd inside mac mini (2006).

possible portable hdd wd elements 1tb (http://www.amazon.com/western-digit...ppey/ref=sr_1_1?ie=utf8&qid=1329348989&sr=8-1), dismantle , put inside mac mini hdd?

i'm not partial hdd; curious if 2.5" portable external drive work inside mac mini.

internal drives alone expensive right because of flooding. simple cost-effectiveness analysis on internal verses external portable shows external drives cheaper per gb internal ones.

know if work? or have ideas?

only if take out hd enclosure , still has sata conector.

have 320gb passport got replace 120gb in ub mb turns out drive doesn't have sata port @ all, has usb port in board of hd can connect usb.

, yes 2.5" drive sata port work, won't know sure unless take apart enclosure.
