How to open new tab controller view

hey everyone, i'm trying open new view. when "new file" , opens new view, can't seem make new view tab controller view, blank white view. want next view tab controller view! tried delete original view , drag tab controller doesn't seem link original code! if me great!

 

so want open new uitabbarcontroller on click of button? want push on navigationcontroller, new controller?
