Help copying old version of Photoshop CS from one Mac to another. No CD.

it's bit of story here goes , before says stick cd in, lost in between moving couple of times.

have original version of photoshop cs installed on old powermac g4 installed sometime in 2004. in 2008 got new @ time macbook running 10.5 , copied through migration assistant without hitch. @ launch used missing files or aside worked fine. when installed 10.6 through upgrade install continued work fine.

deleted partition on book's drive , decided might clean restore since i've been getting few kernel panics , figured help. after wipe , reinstall restored time machine backup , photoshop quits on start.
tried copying through migration assistant again g4 still same results.

there anyway can copy g4 macbook , have work properly?

you won't work. @ least have serial? if thinks you've tried activate on many machines, you'd need go through adobe's tech support. if can't new cd or download, i'm sure can find copy on internet somewhere , activate legally own serial after installation. version in 1 wouldn't same other anyway. required basic updates run under sl.
