i have self-built pc (running win7) use gaming , storage of files , own mbp (latest version of lion) , having difficulty getting 2 somehow connected on router (airport extreme).
pc uses raid 0 setup of ssds main bootable drive , 3 other 3tb drives storage of movies, music, photos, etc... end goal able access of files pc mac, little unsure on how it.
currently, method have been successful going on mbp, "right clicking" finder, selecting connect server, typing in pc's ip address, type in credentials (username + pass) , can access c:\ drive, nothing else. cannot access other drives (e.g. d:\, e:\, f:\, etc...)
if else knows how or can point me in right direction, appreciate it. thanks!
basically put both computers in same workgroup.
create shares on win7 pc.
should able google guide on this.
