Why not numeric keypad on 17" mbp???

i use archicad , wanting go mbp. in field imputing dimensions use numeric keypad on hp. how use mac without this? please let me know or give me method more user friendly.

 

you external numpad, usb or bluetooth, supplement missing numpad.
have wired apple keyboard me, when need use avid media composer, numpad helpful.

why not included, have put trackpad off-center, removed speaker space , not used anyway. not in apple's design language design that.
