Time Capsule wi-fi streaming issue (Netflix, Hulu Plus)

i have bit of strange problem, hoping maybe can out.

internet connection, have at&t u-verse 12 mbps dsl , 2wire hgv3600 modem/router.

previously, ps3 , xbox 360 connected wirelessly 2wire, , stream hulu plus , netflix either system, both services in hd. on 2 laptops (an hp windows 7, , macbook air lion), download speeds consistent 1.0 mb/s.

recently, bought time capsule. tc wired via ethernet 2wire modem, , running in bridged mode (so uses 2wire's firewall). have disabled wireless on 2wire, , use tc wireless network hub.

now, strangely, faster downloads - 1.3 mb/s. problem hulu plus , netflix not stream in hd. on both ps3 , 360, both services stream in extremely low quality. on ps3, hulu plus has option force hd, if play second or two, skip/stutter... unwatchable.

wireless signal shows full bars.

wired not option.

so... missing here?? how can download speeds increase, yet streaming quality severely decreases?

has had experience this? searches seem coming empty :(

help.

update:

test, last night re-enabled wireless on 2wire, connected ps3 1 instead of time capsule, , hulu plus streamed in hd.

it's time capsule, have no idea be.

ideas??

i'd hate waste of $300 if can't use it's supposed do...
