Preview won't quit - saving changes infinitely and always opens a million windows

so 1 time, accidentally opened full folder of ton of images, , opened them in preview. if select quit, asks me every single image if want save or not. takes ages, , if force quit app it'll ask again when open it, went through of them , said don't save.

but, 1 preview window bunch more pictures @ once in still remains open dialog window saying "saving" (akin when empty trash) progress bar never progresses. i've left on night.

how on earth "reset" preview can use again? use app regularly.

 

you try deleting com.apple.preview.plist file ins macintosh hd / users / / library / preferences /.
