Macbook Pro's Logic Board

i'm regular reader of these forums post ( know, should change that). anyways, today i'm faced questions have answered.

have macbook pro last non-unibody model (late '09?) had logic board replaced in february '11 (at no charge!!! love apple). have '11 macbook pro has faulty logic board , needs repair. unfortunately don't live in country apple has authorized repair shops or similar none of shops here accept computer warranty. wondering if there chance logic board of old macbook pro work in new 1 , avoids me trouble of spending $1000 fix it.

thank you.

it not work, different models , have different layout.

how did non-unibody model (models before late 2008) repaired no apple authorised repair shop?
