How to use Gevey Ultra on iPhone 4 w/ iOS 5.1 (for preserved basebands only)

so searched everywhere on web find out if can use gevey iphone 4 on ios 5.1 (currently tethered).

find 2 posts saying should work, no 1 confirmed directly, , youtube video showing success bunch of people commenting not work.

so, after spending couple of hours experimenting,
i'm here confirm work.

i'm here confirm work , tell how did it.

1. manual method
follow applenberry instruction. eg sim app - instruction - dial 112 hang - airplane mode on - airplane mode off

when 'no sim' appears, eject sim halfway, put in.
should able signals.

2. furiousmod method
wait until 'no sim' appears.
when 'no sim' appears, eject sim halfway, put in.
should able signals.


original instruction tells wait until 'sim failure' appears, never reason. using method above, you'll able unlock within minute.

if have preserved bb im hoping have shsh blobs, if downgrade

if not use manual way , follow instructions , should still work, worked me on 5.0.1 b4 furiousmod came out. dont 1 bar or crap on 5.0.1 when doing manual method
