HELP PLEASE! My mouse stopped moving the cursor

last night mouse working fine. click , scroll wont move cursor. bluetooth mouse came imac. idea how fix this?

 

first steps always...

1. turn bluetooth off/on , re-pair device
2. turn off mouse , turn on
3. restart computer

didn't have tried, first thoughts
