Dual Boot 10.6 and 10.7

hi, everyone.

have older 2008 macbook white, running mac os x 10.7 lion. possible install mac os x 10.6 snow leopard on other partition? still able access lion?

asking it, because know can't install older windows while have newer windows version. not sure if same apply mac os x.
