Canadian traveling to the US with new iPad


i'll visiting new ipad. ipad 2, had at&t sim card activate prepaid visa card. however, new lte ipad, on-device activation not available anymore.

at&t offer options tourists new ipads me? has fellow canadian had successful experience in new ipad/ipad 3?
 


interesting euro countries me (the uk , sweden) in particular.
