CA to FL Road Trip

​

so, in september, second trip 3 month usa, me , uni friend going travel california florida (to visit uni friend), plan visit grand canyon (naturally) , few other places on way, figured i'd put out americans here if there's places along route that'd great stop off points. don't want travelling far off route, trip @ 6000 miles there , including our current stop offs.

places go? i'll have dslr photogenic places cool, not required, needs won't cost lot of (or any) money visit or see.

 

i moved ca nc following moving truck not leisurely trip. if had on again , had no reason quick it, hit new orleans sure. know route yet? taking interstate 10 (keeping southern)? if take i-10 you'll hit california, arizona, new mexico, texas, louisiana, alabama , florida of course.
