i have macbook pro 10.6.8 bought in late 2007 trackpad , external mouse has quit working for. can move mouse around can not click on anything. i've tried restarting normal , in safe mode , still can't anywhere. im thinking preference change due recent update cant anywhere try anything.
discovered have swollen battery - yay
find odd external mouse didnt work either

hello. i'm interested in post, since began having same problem macbook pro 17-inch. clicking trackpad nothing, though can move cursor around. surprised me same thing external mouse.
i'm in diagnostics, i'll let know if find out anything. curious have same problem, @ same time.
