Loading PDF takes ages & PITA. Any good solutions?

hi guys. i've been trying load textbooks (no, it's not ibooks textbook) that's in pdf, 15mb, , takes ages load page (or every other page) in ibooks , pdf expert. why this? has been slow reason? perhaps, pdf slow?
solutions, such getting other apps?

i tried out reader, , while pretty app needs, flipping through pages still slow

has other ibooks. i'm guessing it's file. have 950mb catalog in ibooks loads plenty fast on either ipad(1st gen) or ipad2.
