iPhone 4s ear piece issues

please can advice i'm having issues wen makeing out going calls ear piece doesn't activate unless press speaker speaker off. once i've done ear piece works fine while. massive 130 page thread on apple discussion forum regarding issue. i'm wondering if users running 5.1 beta had issues , whether or not corrected them because have perfect device , don't want swap out.

you couldn't find answer in apple thread? sounds me should phone replaced. have done restore itunes?
