How do I change the name I used during setup?

hello, got first apple computer last friday , far pc ex-owner 20 years. during original setup of mac book pro, without thinking do, used full legal name "name" computer. noticed somewhere yesterday while looking through computer statement similar this: know computer "billy's mac book pro." (paraphrased i'm sure.) never use first name unless required on legal document signature etc.

there way change middle name use time , 1 knows me by?

do mean computer name (system preferences > sharing > computer name) or account name? latter not visible via network, former is.
