Got a Powermac G5 and iMac for free

hello guys, wanted share.

got powermac g5 dc 2.3ghz (again) free , imac g5 1.8ghz 20".

hoping , myself believed going quad core.

powermac got 10gb of ram , imac got full of 2gb. both have hard disks , original install disks. very lucky.

original owner said powermac working no problems. opened other dust accumulation there nothing wrong it.

imac got history of noisy fans due fans running @ full speed after time. opened up, , usual, full of dust. blown compressed air clean it, installed leopard, , there go. less noisy 17" imac als.

checked bulging caps, there none. missing airport extreme card.

thinking on upgrading 120gb intel 320 ssd on imac. think guys? still able mount hdd thermal sensor?

these imacs easy , fun open up. design thought.

yeah both fantastic computers, don't know how older macs take ssd suppose great upgrade!
