there compiler option turn on stricter checking of method names? spent 25 minutes tracking bug down , ended being simple case of using numberofobjects instead of numberofobjects nsarray.
according documentation search, numberofobjects method associated nsfetchedresultssectioninfo protocol. nsarray uses count method.
