Fan noise :(

hello,

have updated 2010 mac mini 2.4ghz c2d / 2gb / 320gb / dvd±rw 2011 mac mini 2.3ghz ci5 / 8gb / 500gb / no dvd±rw, , perfect... except fan noise under "heavy" load. :/

have inside ikea ps cabinet in living room , when convert flac acc fan noise kicks in @ full throttle after 10 minutes, or so. fan audible though it's behind closed doors, inside cabinet, when sit in sofa 4 meters away. :/

if quit converting fan noise fades away quickely , mini becomes dead silent again. once start converting again , fan noise kicks in after 20 seconds.

normal? know latest version of mini more powerful have never heard "old" mini make fan noise @ all. under extreme heavy loads converting movies.

edit: english not first language, it's fifth, please bear me.

 

pretty normal, whats ambient temperature in (closed?) environment - take mini in relatively warm space if enclosed, therefore perhaps additional ventilation of said space help. if place mini outside, still spin fan up.

helpful if post data on temperatures registering, there several apps in app store.

ps props english being 5th language, grammar , spelling knowledge of language! must hard fit in.
