AAPL Hits New Highs After Dividend and iPad 3 Sales Numbers

apple's share price today closed above $600 first time, hitting new highs after hours well. it's been busy day apple shareholders, pre-trading announcement company initiating strong quarterly dividend , has authorized $10 billion share buyback program.

after final bell, apple announced company moved more 3 million new ipads in first 4 days of eligibility, making new ipad fastest selling tablet in world.

aapl closed @ $601.10, all-time high, , reached $605 in after hours trading. apple should report earnings first calendar quarter in late-april, after reporting record earnings , sales holiday quarter.
