i've had hand-me-down jailbroken, unlocked iphone 3g (tmobile) since april. aside few minor problems, had been working fine. on thursday, without me doing phone, said "no service" in area i'd never had service problems before. re-jailbroke , re-unlocked several times, got new sim card (mine 10+ years old), , still "no service". hardware problem since happened suddenly? advice appreciated, thanks!! (also, when put sim in older phone, can check texts/vm etc, when put sim iphone, 20 seconds phone "tmobile" @ top , have full bars, gradually dwindle down 0, followed "searching" , "no service" again)
why software problem if working fine before , didn't update anything?
