ATV2 and Ipad2 Issues

the atv nice. there issues ipad 2. have atv 4.4.4 , ios5. 01 on ipad. 4 bars on atv router. streaming via wifi drops off quickly. mirroring lasts bit longer. wifi extender/bridge tied atv substantially? recommended easy set up? have cisco router. on 2nd floor. atv on first floor part of home theater.
