New PowerMac to me

just bought g5 craigslist 150. hope didnt ripped off. 2.0 dual core,1 gig ram , 160 hd. has fx5200. know machine older, cant justify spending 1200 on cheapest imac, let alone 2500 on new mac pro. besides im kinda new mac scene , wife knows less.

person asking 300, no software kb or mouse included, offered 150 , took it. have 10.5.8 on it, office 2008, ilife , have iwork go on next. when opened clean inside, , fans work without making noise. case has few scratches normal machine 8 years old.

i've installed airport extreme , gig of ram. thing runs circles around dell replaced, p4 winxp. machine going used online schooling, web browsing , kids play on. intend learn more mac os since i'm windows guy.

aside adding maybe gig of ram, should replace vid card ati, not planning on gaming, web videos, kids games. should for?

input or advice appreciated.

dude, main machine g4. enough power modern web browsing, youtube (even in hd), photoshop, web design, audio production, etc. got dual g5. math... imho, matter of getting right apps computer.

welcome powerpc world, unsupported apple, supposedly obsolete, in reality flash sucks.
