what cheapest way revive it? know cheap hdd or ssd options compatible macbook white 2008?

any 2.5" s-ata hdd , ssd maximum height of 9.5 mm work. you, how money want spend on ssd, 16 gb should enough running os without further applications besides browsers. 32 gb better though.
