i have installed headroom digital analog (dac) coverter box in order feed headroom headphone amp. goal allow wife hear external speakers while (hearing impaired) used headphones during atv movies. atv's optical cord connects digital receiver have audio digital out running dac via optical cable analog cable running headphone amp.
here catch. atv previews work perfectly; when select rent sound in headphones produces "rattling feedback sound" rather clear audio received during previews! atv software perhaps "kicking in" copyright protection loop since may think trying record rental movies' audio track?
thoughts or suggestions appreciated.
