i have friend ordered dvd europe pal format. when received went play , not work. told him try rip/burn backup copy him view here in north america. have used ripit little app factory video_ts folder, used dvd2onex burn disk. problem is, still not play. there doing wrong? assuming video_ts folder still telling it in pal format. backup copy plays fine on mac (infact, doesn't ask me change regions if play original).
appreciated.
the dvd spec requires pal players can play ntsc, reverse isn't true. friend should check specs of player , see whether has pal support.
