Stopwatch problems

this may first time i've ever had problems core apps. seems stopwatch feature in clock app (and timer well) have been buggy lately me. when in stopwatch, it'll add minute, or automatically reset in middle of timing.

else had problem? i'm on iphone 4, wondering whether compatibility issue, hardware having issues, or ios 5 prob.
