Looking to buy Mac mini as a desktop replacement

hey guys

i'm looking buy mac mini desktop house. have 13 inch aluminum macbook released in late 2008. still runs great first day got it. have ipad 2 , ipod touch 2nd generation.

desktop @ houses have dell inspiron tower paid 250 dollars for. i'm looking mac desktop because love macs around , wanted know if deal. don't feel spending more 599 mac mini little input.

needs be, microsoft office college work, music arranging sibelius 7, music , maybe syncing ipad , ipod instead of macbook (if much, keep in macbook), , basic web stuff surfing, facebook, youtube, , aim. dell desktop in fact leave in lot of time , not turn off.

work , enough? dell tower 2 years old , lagging. in advance guys!!!!!

 

i have older mini , main mac except gaming.
