ok after previous thread started decided go 600d suits needs well, im getting kit lens, heard when shooting video outside (which il using for) need uv lens? purpose , if use 1 effect give , have video of it?
it's uv filter, not lens , nowadays argue don't see difference in using or not using it. lot of people use protect front element on lenses because cheaper buy new uv filter (protector) instead of having front element of lens replaced.
uv filters anywhere dirt cheap quite pricey, pay though. of cheaper uv filters degrade image quality. on kit lens don't need one. it's cheap enough if happens, can replace entire lens. if have l glass different story.
