Resolved Forums have gone "thin"

i'm getting white border on either side of forums rather them filling page. i've seen before , could've sworn there dropdown in bottom-left corner choose whether fill screen or not. dropdown seems have gone walkabout.

has else run this?

 

have tried fixed | fluid | fluid hd @ bottom center?
