Question about imovie

im making video 5 or 6 sections. example, 1 minute of something, followed 1 minute of else , on.

can't figure out how make multiple squares put selected part in. when drag media box. how make several boxes easier to rearrange when im done?

have 3 hours of media , hundreds of selections go through, 5 or 6 different things going on in same media easier go through once, instead of 5 or 6 times.

or there way drag clips around once in box instead of having copy , paste?

 

there's little slider @ bottom of window lets adjust how shows thumbnail clip (i.e. how long boxes be). slide way right, iirc, , each clip 1 "box" make easier rearrange them.
