i've sent email proclip well, figured might faster response here. in advance.
i have 2 proclip holders in 2 different cars , find them excellent. both of them have more secure fitting 1 interested in 2 points of contact dash in 1 case, , connected top , bottom air vent in other. have concerns single point mount perhaps phone bounce around bit might ok if wanted have there take phone calls on bluetooth or play music. sat nav use mightn't ideal.
re pass through port, think point of enable have mount semi-permanently connected docking cable (which in case connected audio system) , pop phone holder , make connection without fiddling cables. opted different system using mount accepts griffin cable - see here - have dedicated ipod adpater own cable , bit of modification of mount able secure dock connector , pop iphone straight in , makes connection without fiddling around cables.
