Moving on from iOS...

i've been learning c , obj-c , cocoa , cocoa touch half decade now, while , little before in high school.

i'm looking internship @ programming company (i've applied dozen.) i've been rejected 2 jobs now, each not knowing enough other languages.

so, question is, languages should start learning job, , how should start learning them? figure should learn them 1 @ time, order should learn them in? sample list of languages/technologies seems companies want me know:
- c++
- python
- java
- javascript
- shell
- bash
- ruby
- sql

feel on head here such long list... suggestions on start, how start, , how long spend on each one?

there's issue @ play here. if start lang @ point, may never make it. lang becomes older, want more years in it.

example: @ ads objc/iphone dev... want 1~2 years ... next year they'll want 2~3 years... , on... after while they'll want 5~7 years.

@ ads older langs, c++, .net ... number of years want 1 or 2 less age of lang.

if start 'older' lang @ time, never have number of years needed.

interviewed job lang wasn't released yet, part of beta test team ca. during job interview, pointed out wanted few years exp in lang... didn't anything, nobody had that... product did exist yet!

recruiters @ numbers , keywords, nothing more, either have numbers or don't.

should base answer on how old product , if think here in few years. updating product, have vital position , huge support? may hot today , cold next year. remember, visual foxpro red hot once... it's been ice cold years...
