the trackpad may not exist know on macbooks out year.
gestures remain, ability move pointer using finger may non-existent.
pointer inferior touchscreen. need draw use ipad.
need type , move though documents need mac, need pointer?
gestures can all. imagine scroll gesture, everything.
pointer has had it's time.
you can't rid of pointer. how know you're selecting? touch screen horrible ergonomics notebook computer. also, there many still prefer using mouse on trackpad, since mouse far more efficient operations.
