Synching iPhone on two computers.

i use desktop mac manipulate iphone 4s. works fine.
i'd duplicate on macbook pro. connected iphone laptop , did manual backup.

sync iphone onto 2 computers. when tried sync music files, warned doing replace on iphone entire itunes library. don't want that. got same sort of warned iphone apps.

so, how sync phone 2 computers without destroying on iphone?

i did same thing

activated phone , backed on work computer. wanted off of work computer , put itunes on home laptop , sync , backup there only. told on here , apple tech indeed lose music on phone. went ahead , authorized home laptop , went ahead , synced it. believe got message said sync itunes library , lose well. went ahead , did it, didnt lose on phone. not sure why or how didnt?. have backed onto home laptop , icloud going delete off of work computer.
