Previous Generation 13" Air vs. Current Generation 13" Pro

i need laptop last me through next 2 months main machine. have budget of $1200.

it's choice between previous generation 13" macbook air core 2 duo 4gb ram & 256gb ssd (macmall has them on sale $1150 right now) or low end 13" macbook pro.

lot of photoshop work , edit raw image files, that's hardest mac pushed.

benefits of macbook air (higher resolution screen, ssd) outweigh benefits of macbook pro (better processor, expanding ram 8gb)?

appreciate anyone's input.
