PowerBook G4 Woes....

i on powerbook g4 titanium, surfing web fine last night. woke morning, , stuck in startup loop. little spinning gear come up, spin around 5 minutes restart. i'd odd kernel panic. put tiger install disk in drive try , ting on it's feet, installer keeps failing. tried installing jaguar (grey disk) , same thing happened.

i'm bit stumped on here. parts or there can working again?

i've had spinning gear thing before after screwing around partitions on boot hdd, fixed complete wipe , reinstall. it's unlikely both discs bad.

have tried deletion partitions, repartitioning installing? if that's still failing hard drive on way out.
