iPad & iPhone iTunes Syncing concern?

got wife ipad2 yesterday (couldn't pass $100 drop in price).

sync'd itunes on our computer until has been sync'd iphone, , looked fine, until noticed of apps wern't right, i.e., ebay, usa today, etc.

donloaded ebay ipad, , usa today ipad, , deleted older ebay , usa today iphone versions.

question when sync's ipad again, itunes save save ipad app versions.

questions are:

1. iphone versions remain in itunes or replace them wih ipad versions?

2. when syncs iphone, ipad versions loanded onto iphone?

3. itunes know tthe differences when syncing iphone vs ipad?

insight appreciated. thank

 

itunes know different devices, , let select different app layouts them (it different device, 2 iphones). know ipad is, , let app install valid device. thus, if have specific ipad-only apps not synced iphone, iphone versions of apps *will* synced ipad in addition ipad versions unless manually choose apps sync device , uncheck those.
