decided i'd upgrade 64gb at&t ipad2 .. pre-ordered (and received) both 64gb at&t , verizon 3rd gen ipad, i'll testing on next few days, after i'll return 1 of them.
i've upgraded each new update , biggest considerations in choosing (1) nyc metro area lte connectivity speeds of either at&t or verizon versions, realizing while both globally gsm capable, latter drop slower cdma speed outside verizon's lte coverage area, , of course, (2) resale value year either of them when 4th gen released.
anyway, maybe shed light on noticed - looked @ model numbers of types of 64gb 3rd gen ipads , wondering why white models , at&t wifi+4g designated differently (eg md.. instead of mc.. md models typically newer models compared mc models)
mc707ll/a black wifi only
md330ll/a white wifi only
mc756ll/a black wifi + verizon 4g
md365ll/a white wifi + verizon 4g
md368ll/a black wifi + at&t 4g (as released outside us)
md371ll/a white wifi + at&t 4g
find searching net may related bootrom used. again, maybe it's arbitrary assignment of model number , has nothing different hardware @ all.
appreciate info more knowledgeable members of forum.
