had trouble booting imac g5 1.8 ghz parents gave me, booted off mac os x leopard disk given. did erase everything, start fresh install......came hour , half later after install , said "failed install, need 10.4 before can install 10.5".......oh no! given wrong disc.......got right discs now, using disc 1, pizza wheel @ "select destination" screen. "you cannot install mac os x on volume without changing install settings. click options change settings. newer version of mac os x installed." pizza wheel 30 mins now? should try else?
new......ran hardware test , got error message on mass storage category......
