i have black macbook 2,1 (bought ~jan '07) want upgrade 4gb of ram (3gb usable). i'm wondering stock ram timings are. i'm going mushkin ram, , have 2 choices 4gb ram timing: 4-4-4-12 , 5-5-5-15.
i'm tempted faster ram, if macbook can't use increased speed, there's no point.
asked mushkin directly, , said faster ram, didn't sound knew , wanted me spend more $$...
anyway, couldn't find in forum search or on old google, can me out!
