Can't Boot Past Blue Screen on OSX Partition, no Problem on Windows Side

i know there million threads on this, have interesting situation. have 2007 macbook osx , windows partition. every time try boot osx side stuck @ blue loading screen, booting windows partition causes no problems. can access files on osx side through windows without issue. booted in single user mode , reset permissions, didn't work. ive reset pram, nvram , smu no avail. i'm running snow leopard, unfortunately cannot find osx disk. hard drive ticking time bomb (i replaced less year ago) or there can windows partition fix problem?
