been waiting ipad while (with both dad , even grandad buying ipad 2 before me) never sure if part cash... there new 1 out, i'm starting think can! however, money tight-ish , hp laptop needing replacing when finish uni in june, worth getting ipad general computer , cheap-ish windows laptop (if necessary) or waiting mbp refresh later year? tim cook said himself people moving away pc , ios. survive ipad (oh , iphone 4)? or better mbp on own first? can see apple being more innovative ios mac os x hey. thoughts please!
i have both , ipad , macbook. if have 1 stick (regrettably) macbook. ipad great , go device 80% of (read, e-mail (short), web browse) other 20 % (write reports, create power point presentations, photoshop) not work me @ all. mileage may vary. somethings want mouse , keyboard, mature filing systems, , more 1 app running @ time. yes can bluetooth keyboard absence of filing system me... limits (yes there work arounds but)...
@ end of day, macbook can ipad me (maybe not fun), same can not said ipad on macbook.
other option, cheapish windows laptop, wouldn't go there.
