So how do text books look?

that is:

ibooks, scanned pdf, formated pdf, kindle, etc...

10" screen small, i'm wondering if increased resolution make 'virtually' larger (so speak).

also, music manuscript i'm curious about.

i'm reluctant shell out cash, without lot of opinions. of course go store, try fiddle it, it's not easy laptop can bring usb drive.
