Protect contents of Automator workflow

hi!

messing around bit automator.

created apps useful me, containing apple scripts , shell scripts passwords.

believed if save workflow ".app" safe. discovered can still open automator , read passwords...

there way protect automator created app being viewed?

no - applescript saved run-only can still read. passwords should never stored in plain text.
