Network access through a PC

i've spent last couple of days trying figure out how connect powermac g5 pc internet. connect cat5 cable 2 of them, mac recognizes cable , creates ip addy, still not connect network.

there way better. pc in shop accesses internet (network) via wireless nic, , mac wired pc.

 

network switch or airport express base station...
