Need some help with WiFi dropping please!

i need please!


internet connection keeps freezing , have turn airport / wifi setting off on again in order resume.

has been happening quite while now. suggested router bought brand new 1 both n & g , still happens whichever channel using.


strange thing is, if downloading large file, or streaming radio or video, carries on fine- when go open new web page freezes , doesn't open until turn wifi/airport icon off on.


mac mini, ipad , iphone not have problem.


have tried archive , install , didn't help.

on 10.5.8 , imac 8,1


ideas be?
