mail app issue help

i went genius bar earlier fix mail notification on macbook pro it's fixed in way notification says 25 though e-mails has been checked , read. , read on "help" tab mail app. tells me go "connection doctor" shows me don't know fix it. i've entered password. here pix of has been done @ genius bar. help.

the second screenshot shows you've got dock badge enabled mailboxes. "25" badge means have 25 unread emails hiding somewhere in mail folders other inbox.

connection issues, i've no idea.
make sure gmail , live mail set allow mail clients access them. know gmail has "allow smtp" option must check allow clients connect.
